Year 13 boys from the other Post Primary Schools in the town attended a Young Men’s event centred around Body Image and Mental Health Awareness in Magherafelt High School recently.
Year 13 boys from the other Post Primary Schools in the town attended a Young Men’s event centred around Body Image and Mental Health Awareness in Magherafelt High School recently.
Year 14 Students were completing their primary data collection on the impact of tourism in a sand dune ecosystem (psammosere). They were investigating changes in plant diversity, soil and climate, and also the impact of tourism and how it is being managed at Benone. This is an integral part of their A21 studies.
Year 13 Students recently attended a visit to the Magilligan Field Centre which invoved a visit to the Umbra Nature Reserve in order to collect data on plant succession as part of their AS3 studies.

The School held their Annual Prize Distribution on Thursday, 28 September to recognise and celebrate the successes of our pupils over the last year. The guest speaker was Mr Paul Charles who is a past pupil of the school. Paul who lives in London and has a facinating career as a music promoter and agent, supporting and representing many well known national and international stars including Van Morrison, Rory Gallagher, Don McLean and Jackson Brown among many others.
