GCE A-Level Applied Business Studies
The Course
The aim of this course is to provide students with a broad introduction to the business sector and encourage students to develop skills, knowledge and understanding in realistic business contexts, such as discovering the problems and opportunities faced by local businesses and/or organising an enterprise activity.
AS content and assessment are presented as stepping stones to A2. If you wish to obtain a full A Level qualification, you must complete the AS course in Year 13 and the A2 course in Year 14.
Structure of the AS Applied Business
Three unit AS Award – Students are required to take all three units.

Structure of the AS Applied Business
Three A2 Units – students are required to take 3 units. Units 7 and 9 are compulsory and students then have an optional Unit which will be chosen by the teacher.
