MHS HOME WORK CLUB
We would like to invite all Year 8 pupils to use our brand new after school Homework Club on Mondays in the School Library from 3.30-4.30pm. There will also be access to computers and printers via the adjacent AV Room. The club will launch on Monday 22 October.
Pupils will be allowed to arrive and leave at any time during this period and are encouraged to use the facility to help manage their homework schedule. Staff will be on hand to help pupils organise their work and to... support them with subjects they struggle with if needed. Snacks will be provided for all pupils who attend.
We hope that this new initiative will help bridge the transition from primary school homework to a more focused and independent approach for our Year 8 pupils, helping them develop the self-management skills required to maintain an organised approach to homework and study throughout their school careers.
