MHS HOST SUCCESSFUL YOUNG MEN'S HEALTH EVENT
Magherafelt High hosted a Pro Teen Young Men’s Health event involving all the post primary schools in the town.
Approximately 100 Sixth Formers heard talks on healthy lifestyles, sport and nutrition from Stephanie Ingram of the Dairy Council, and Anthony Begley a Youth Athletic Performance Coach. Mr Billy Dixon then spoke to the young men on motivation and lifestyle. The workshop concluded with the students trying out the smoothie bike and snacking on a healthy lunch. This event was all supported by the Networks Involving Communities in Health Project. Thanks to Anne Marie and Shaun for all their help and input to the event.
