MHS GIRLS U16 HOCKEY SUCCESS

 

The Magherafelt High School Girls U16 Hockey Team entered the NEBSSA League for the first time and competed against some much larger schools such as Glengormley High School, Downshire, Slemish and Parkhall Integrated.

The girls played very well and showed a great deal of promise as the season progressed achieving 3^rd place overall. Some outstanding performances from Leah Morton, Megan Porter and Jessica O’Neill in particular aided in the girls being placed . The girls hope to continue to participate in Hockey next season and hope to improve on this success.
