MHS U16 GIRLS' HOCKEY TEAM CELEBRATE TEAM VICTORY
The U16 Magherafelt High School Girls' hockey Team welcomed Glengormley High School here for their first home match in the NEBBSA league.
As the match started our girls' settled in well having the vast majority of the play. By half time it was still 0-0 and we were unlucky not to have scored from several opportunities. After half time the girls really found their form and scored 2 goals in quick succession from Amy Prott and Rebecca McKeown. That was how the match ended Magherafelt High 2 Glengormley 0. Player of the match was Megan Porter.
The girls' have two more fixtures in the league against Parkhall Integrated College and Downshire High School High so we wish them luck and hope they maintain this form!
