The Year 9 boys not wanting to be eclipsed by their female counterparts, reached the finals of the All-Ireland Basketball in their respective league. This year group who have a strong history of sporting prowess will be undoubtedly hard-to-beat whoever they play.

This team has a strong tradition to maintain with the Year 11s bringing home their respective cup last year. Their coach, the irrepressible Mr Burns is in buoyant mood ahead of the finals and believes that victory is well within their grasp if they put in the training.
