We would like to extend our thanks to Mr Watters for taking the time to attend our prize distribution and congratulate all our pupils', past and present who were awarded prizes at the event.
A group of 14 pupils' from our A Level Product Design 3D Technology and Design class visited Moyola Precision Engineering, Castledawson on Monday, 22 September 2014. The group thoroughly enjoyed their visit and would like to thank Moyola Precision Engineering for their information and hospitality.
While many of us were sitting around a table eating our cornflakes and contemplating whether or not to go for the second bowl, twenty enthused and clearly fit students, accompanied three members of staff (Mrs Wishart, Mr Campbell, Miss Alexander and Mrs T Wilson), were about to set off on the Belfast Marathon Fun Run- nothing fun about it if you ask me!
Mrs 'Play 9 in defence' McAleece and Mr 'Play 9 up front' Charles chaperoned our young year 8 and 9 girls football starlets to the Coleraine 7s tournament on Monday (16th June). Although both team didn't quite make it to the final, they hopefully got the 'buzz' you feel when playing in any kind of tournament.
The final results of Sports Day were announced in assembly this morning with medal and trophy winners presented with the rewards for their endeavours on the 'track' and in the 'field'. By all accounts this was an exceptional year for school athletics with our students achieving success at Board (NEELB), regional and UK levels.
